Robert Wagoner's - THE WEST IS IN MY SOUL

Bob Wagoner, as I'm sure you already know, is one of America's very best western artists. He once told me that he often takes a tape player up into the High Sierra Mountains that rise majestically above his home in Bishop, California. There he listens to the music of the original Sons of the Pioneers, to find inspiration for his paintings.

Amy and I have one of these inspired paintings in our living room entitled "Following the Stream". On the back of the painting are written the words, "To Rusty and Amy, so you have the same choice of artists as me... Bob Nolan "

At the time in his life when you'd think he'd be slowing down he takes his aerobatic airplane up almost daily and looks at the High Sierra from a totally different perspective. I have never known anyone quite as gifted as Bob Wagoner. He is truly a creative genius. Not only in his paintings but in every aspect of his music as well.

His versatility with so many musical instruments, his beautiful voice, his unique arrangements are all outstanding. He calls this newest release" The West Is In My Soul "and it is indeed, and if is not in your soul yet, it will be when you have finished listening to these wonderful recordings.
