1. MY KIND OF COUNTY - From an old Jack Benny movie titled "Buck Benny Rides Again" sung by Dennis Day. Also sung by Jimmy Wakely in an old western called "Stick to Your Guns". Written by Jimmy McHugh and Frank Loesser.

2. SILENT TRAILS - A beautiful but seldom heard Tim Spencer composition recorded by the original Sons of the Pioneers.

3. COWBOY SERENADE - Written by a composer named Hall and recorded by Glenn Miller as well as other pop and western artists.

4. RESTLESS GUN - A tune by Kahn - Greene and Lenard written as the theme song for a TV series starring john Payne.

5. WHERE THE COOL CLEAR WATER SPILLS - A composition by Andy Parker of the "Plainsmen" and recorded by the group. Just one of many by this prolific composer.

6. THE WHEEL OF THE WAGON (IS BROKEN) - Written in 1935 By Elton Box - Desmond Cox and Michael Carr.

7. GOOD BYE OLD PAINT - A traditional song recorded by many artists including one of the best. Ken Carson of the early Pioneers. It was released on his "Treasury of the West" album.

8. SINGIN' MY WAY BACK HOME - This one is from the movie "Singin' Guns" starring the great vocalist from the 1940's, Vaughn Monroe. It was written by Nathan Scott.

9. NAVAJO TRAIL - Authored by Markers - Charles and Delange, this is a wonderful song recorded by pop as well as western artists.

10. NO ONE HERE BUT ME - The composer of "Ghost Riders in the Sky" Stan Jones penned this haunting little jewel.

11 . RESURRECTUS - Another fine song from the pen of Stan Jones demonstrating once again Stan's love of the openness and grandeur of the American West.

12. THERE'S SILVER ON THE SAGE - This one written by Leo Robin and Ralph Raiger was used in a 1930's movie with Randolph Scott titled "The Texan".

13. NE-HA-NEE (CLEAR WATER) - A classic Bob Nolan composition not widely performed but used in the 1946 Roy Rogers film "Under Nevada Skies".

14. BLOW WIND BLOW - Written by Glenn Spencer this beauty was never commercially recorded but occasionally performed by the early Sons of the Pioneers.

15. CALL OF THE CANYON
- Recorded by pop as well as western artists including Glenn Miller and Jimmy Wakely. It was written by Billy Hill.

16. OLD FORGOTTEN TRAILS - Another fine Bob Nolan song that tells of the feelings of an old cowboy about his saddle pals and the now fading trails they knew and rode in the days gone by.

NOTE: (I dedicate this song to my dear friend Bill (Riff) Riffle and all of his compadres in Viaje De Portola. May your trails never be forgotten.)

17. CALL OF THE FARAWAY HILLS
- This melody is the theme music for the classic western movie "Shane" written by Young and David and recorded by the great Ken Curtis.
